How to Download NVIDIA GeForce NOW on Chromebook

If you prefer a click-and-download method to get NVIDIA GeForce NOW, follow these steps:

  1. 📱 Open the Google Play Store on your Chromebook.
  2. 🔍 Search for “NVIDIA GeForce NOW” in the search bar.
  3. ⬇️ Click the “Install” button to download and install the app.
  4. 🚀 Once installed, launch NVIDIA GeForce NOW from your app drawer.

You can play NVIDIA GeForce NOW games directly in your browser without downloading the app.  This method works well BUT in my own experience, using the GeForce NOW App works even better and you get access to more stuff, but anyway, here is how to play the games with just your browser:

  1. Visit the Website: Go to NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
  2. Log In or Sign Up: Use your NVIDIA account or create a new one.
  3. Start Playing: Search for your favorite game, click Play, and enjoy!

GeForce NOW is NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service that allows you to stream and play high-end PC games on various devices, including those without powerful hardware, by utilizing NVIDIA’s server-side GPUs.

  • Operating System: Chrome OS.
  • Memory: 4GB of Ram or more.
  • Browser: Chrome browser 77.x or newer.
  • Internet Speed: At Least 15 Mbps for 720p at 60FPS, and 25 Mbps for 1080p at 60FPS.
  • Keyboard and Mice: Most built-in or USB keyboards work.
  • Gamepads:
    • All Microsoft Xbox Wireless controllers connected using Bluetooth or USB.
    • Sony PS5 DualSense connected using Bluetooth or USB.
    • Sony DualShock 4 connected using Bluetooth or USB.
    • Microsoft Xbox 360 connected wireless using a USB adapter or USB.
    • Logitech Gamepad F310/F510/F710.

  • Poor Streaming Quality
