Hello everyone, how are you all doing today? I hope you all had a great weekend, if not, make sure you enjoy yourself next week lol, anyway we have a sweet app that most of you will love, trust me, read on…

Today we will showcase an amazing app that many consider the best alternative for Skype for your Chromebook or Chrome OS powered devices and I have to agree. I just installed this new Viber app for Chrome OS a few minutes ago and I just love how smooth it is running on my Chromebook, I am about to go install it on my Chromebox later on today or tomorrow but so far I am impressed.

What Is Viber?

Viber is a mobile application that allows you to make phone calls and send text messages to all other Viber users for free! Viber is available over WiFi or 4G. Our sound quality is much better than a regular call. Once you and your friends install Viber, you can use it to talk and message as much as you want. Talk, message, and talk and message some more – for free. Just like Skype.

Does it cost anything to use Viber?
Viber to Viber messages and calls are completely free.

Does Viber works on my phone?
Viber works on most Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Phone, Nokia and Bada devices. Viber is also available for Mac, Chrome OS(YAY!) and Windows.

So basically if you enjoy Skype, you will love Viber, they basically offer the exact same features, try Viber and tell me if I am wrong but I honestly think a lot of people will find this little app a life saver.
