Google-Cast-Ready-DeviceHello everyone, how are you all doing today? I hope you are all having a great day so far. I am about to get started working on a new Android related web site that will become another sister site for Chrome Geek. I know you will all love the web site once we are done with it sometime in August. Anyway, please read on…

Today we will feature one of the, if not THE most important app for Chromecast. Please check out Google Cast if you haven’t heard or haven’t installed it yet. It is worth your instant installation and I think it should honestly come as default on all Google devices, Android etc but that’s a story for another time lol. Let’s find out what makes this app so useful.

NOTE: Google Cast is now installed on all Google Chrome browsers by default.

What Is Google Cast?

Google Cast devices allow you to cast your favorite entertainment from your phone, tablet or laptop directly to your TV or speakers. You can cast to Chromecast, Chromecast Audio, and TVs and Speakers with Google Cast built-in. Simply tap the Cast button from 1000s of Cast-enabled apps on your iPhone®, iPad®, Android device, or laptop to send content to the biggest screen and best speakers in the home. The Google Cast app is your one-stop shop for exploring what you can do with Google Cast. Use the Google Cast app to:

• Easily browse trending and popular content from your Cast-enabled apps
• Explore and discover more Cast-enabled apps to watch, listen to and play on your TV
• Use voice search to find content by movie, TV show or actor
• Sync your speakers together with Multi-room groups, so you can enjoy playback in every room.
