Remote Desktop App for Chrome

H

Hello everyone, you can download Chrome Remote Desktop for Chrome, but before you do that, I hope you’re all having a great start to your week. My Monday has felt more like a Sunday because of a religious holiday today. I don’t even know what the holiday is called or what religion it’s for, but hey, I’m not complaining, I needed the rest, lol. Anyway, read on…

Today, we’re going to talk about a must-have app. This app is called Chrome Remote Desktop, and it basically lets you connect to and control other operating systems right from your Google Chrome browser, including Linux, macOS, and, of course, Windows 10. Before we get to the download link, you can read more about it below.

If you’re looking for more options, you might also want to check out AnyDesk for ChromeOS, another great tool that offers secure, fast, and easy remote access on your Chromebook. Unlike Chrome Remote Desktop, AnyDesk is available as an Android app that you can grab from the Google Play Store, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer a different remote desktop experience.

What is Chrome Remote Desktop About?

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows (7 and above) and Mac (OS X 12.6 and above) desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Below you will find downloads to two apps, the first link is for those of you who want to use your Chrome browser to access other computers, the second link is for those of you who have an android phone or tablet and would rather use that to access other computers.

I have a passion for dogs, food, and cars, and I also have a deep interest in Chromebooks and cloud gaming/servers. I'm usually the first one in our office to try out new apps or games so if there is a trend, I am usually the first one to try things, good or bad lol. If you need help with your Chromebook or Chrome browser, you can send me an email at Frank@ChromeGeek.com
